Abstract :
As one of the second generation of wavelets, multiwavelets possess much better properties than traditional wavelets. In this paper, edge extraction based on multiwavelets is applied in target recognition. The experiments of simulation show that edge extraction based on GHM multiwavelet realizes low contrast target detection successfully. The application of multiwavelets provides an available solution to target detection, and it has a good feasibility.
