  • Abstract
    The median has long been known as a measure more robust than the arithmetic mean as a stable estimator insensitive to problems such as outliers or extreme values. This paper suggests the application of median-related measures to fuzzy computation, especially in defuzzification and in combining fuzzy membership degrees
