  • Abstract
With the increasing safety requirements in automation management, an effective vehicle management system is becoming more and more necessary and urgent in all departments. Based on widely application of the advanced information technologies, a practicable system of vehicle dispatching and monitoring is designed for flight service in this paper. Firstly, the target of the system is presented; Secondly, the wired and wireless networks and mobile devices such as PDA platform are recommended as the security measures in the globe design; Thirdly, the suitable wireless base stations, mobile terminals and other equipments are chosen by a further analysis of hardware proposed; Finally, the communication protocol is described in detail. The system has been tested for many times in practice and proved to be safe and reliable. Furthermore, the system is worthy of being employed into other applications.
