Abstract
Ac motors drives become widely used through industries during the last decades because of their large benefits. This paper describes a theoretical and experimental investigation of conducted noise and common mode voltage (CMV) generated by a variable speed AC motor drive. Measurements of electromagnetic interferences noises and their compliance with the regulations are presented. Even, experimental results of CMV are presented with drives controlling techniques to mitigate its influence.
