Abstract
The energy efficiency of such a system efficiency of ultraviolet irradiation will depend on many highly interactive parameters: sizing and filling of discharge lamps used as ultraviolet radiation sources, power mode, temperature, and heat balance in radiation transport the middle. This work aims, firstly, to identify and evaluate the influence of several of these parameters to be set at values that optimize the application. To achieve this, an experimental device has been developed, a regulated current `high frequency´, an inductive device 50 Hz power electronics are made and a study of the kinetics of inactivation and reactivation bacterial picture is performed on various bacterial strains. Furthermore, this paper addresses the problem of modeling and performance improvement of a method for disinfecting water by ultraviolet irradiation.
