Abstract :
The performance and the cost of photovoltaic systems (PV) can be improved by employing high-efficiency power control with maximum power point tracking (MPPT). Many maximum power point trackers algorithms have been developed to maximize the produced energy and a lot of these are well established in the literature. In this paper, a comparative study of the most used MPPT algorithms is achieved. Using the same PV system, under strictly the same set of technical and metrological conditions, simulations and comparisons of the three algorithms are done.
