Abstract :
Since customers always buy some commodities together, distribution center (DC) may combine these correlated commodities as modules to be picked, then the picking efficiency will be greatly increased. FP-Tree algorithm is used to obtain high-demand correlated products from a large amount of transaction records. Numerical experiments demonstrate the performance and practicability of this modular order picking approach, and runtime in the algorithm as well. The experimental results also show the effects that various thresholds influence the outputs.
