ChoiceRail ??? A new concept in multi modal journey planning

UK travellers have several possible access stations for a rail trip, with many optimisation factors. ChoiceRail is a working prototype of an advanced, combined road and public transport journey planner. The journey planner is innovative both in its use of novel algorithms for finding the best journeys; its consideration of key customer behaviour and satisfaction factors affecting rail choice (such as parking and reliability), and its integration of road and rail real-time data on a massive scale.
