Abstract :
This paper discusses the question whether online retailers can diversify from their competitors by reaching out to new delivery concepts for last mile logistics. We choose an empirical study to ask 250 potential online consumers about their opinion and preferences of online trading and last mile delivery to show the importance of new delivery strategies in order to deal with the rising challenges of high growth rates in E-Commerce business for retailers and logistic service providers.
