Abstract :
This study aims to examine the equipment donation practices of organizations in Canada, as well as to trace the path of shipments of donated equipment from their point of origin, to their ultimate destination. The goal is to share best practices among Canadian donating organizations, and gain a better understanding as to why so many organizations are still making inappropriate donations despite the existence of wellpublicized guidelines promoting best practices. The study is a continuation of the on-going partnership between Health Technology Management professionals in Ghana and Canada.
