  • Abstract
    The cost-effectiveness and the reliability in hybrid and electric propulsion system can be achieved by the use of reduced structure inverters. Within this trend, the paper develops a new DTC strategy dedicated to a reduced delta inverter “three-switch three phase inverter (TSTPI)” fed induction motor drive. A special attention is paid to the design of the vector selection table in an attempt to reduced ripple of the electromagnetic torque. Due to a particular rapidity, a great flexibility and a high integration of the FPGA board, we are interested in this paper to generate a XSG code in order to implement the DTC strategy on a Xilinx virtex5 board.
