Abstract
A large class of problems in parameter estimation concerns systems where parameters occur nonlinearly. We address the issue of parameter convergence in such systems. Sufficient conditions under which parameter estimates converge to their true values are derived and shown to be stronger than the standard persistent excitation requirements in linearly parameterized systems
