Abstract :
The concept of this paper is to construct a DC-DC converter which is capable of handling multiple of inputs and corresponding multiples of outputs. This DC-DC converter is then combining with the multilevel inverter. Since the proposed converter provides multi-output, to make the most of its efficiency cascaded multilevel inverter is used in this paper. Energy storage systems (ESSs) and renewable energy sources both are used for the input sources. The charging and discharging states of the energy storage system can be controlled properly. This proposed converter consists of minimum number of passive elements. The proposed converter is a nonisolated converter hence compact size is achieved.
