  • Abstract
Electrically small coil antennas are designed to establish an inductive link through a human body model. The simulated efficiency (transmission parameter) of the first link budget is 0.6 %. To improve the received power, we used 5-layered antenna for the ingestible coil and increased the sizes of the receiver on-body coil. The simulated efficiency of this link is 1.5 %; it is significantly improved and it exceeds twice the first.
