Abstract
Radiant EM source detection as found important application both in the civil and the military field. In the last few decades this issue has received particular attention and some techniques have been suggested. This paper presents an innovative approach to localize an EM pulsed source, operating beyond a wall. Such a technique is based on the processing, by means of Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs), of the TDOA and of the amplitudes detected by a small probe made up of 2 or 3 antennas placed at a small distance.
