Abstract :
Wearable System for long-term Electrocardiogram (ECG) Monitoring focus on how to monitor more comfortably in daily life the ECG state. Such systems which mainly consist of a wearable acquisition device, a mobile gadget, and a healthcare server, are the proposed architectures in most cases. Most long-term telemedicine monitoring systems focus on communication in Bluetooth standard techniques. However, how to monitor the patients with chronic heart diseases through Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) wearable devices is the concern area. In this paper a wearable ECG monitoring device in ZigBee Technology is the subject of discussion on obtained results. Combining with wireless communication technique the ZigBee solution can monitor patient´s condition continuously. Mobility and flexibility, low-power, local processing, encoding capabilities, and miniaturization are essential physical requirement. Preliminary results of a new hardware for the ECG signal which will serve in a WBAN monitoring system will be presented further.
