Abstract
In this paper, the problem of balanced realization of Laguerre network models is considered, and an algorithm for constructing an internally balanced realization of such models is presented. The algorithm does not require the solution of Lyapunov equations, and it is thus computationally efficient, compared to standard procedures. A numerical example is given to illustrate the procedure
