Abstract
Type II fuzzy number (T2FN) is a useful modeling tool for capturing more general ambiguity type uncertainties. It is used for representing several unfixed rules, knowhow and general dynamics. Even though the T2FN has received enormous emphases, the analyses of a T2FN embedded functions are studied comparatively less. What this paper focused on is examinations of T2FN with more general type membership functions and how the optimality of a T2FN embedded nonlinear function is calculated. A new and efficient mechanism for obtaining local/global optimum is provided with a numerical case study. The suggested method contributes to analyze a T2FN embedded nonlinear function efficiently.
