Abstract
The development of tourism industry will influence the expansion of relative industry such as advertising, insurance, aviation, passenger transport, hotels, catering, amusement parks and merchandise retail industries etc. Tourism industry is one kind of service industry. The characteristics of service industry such as intangibility, heterogeneity, the synchronization of production and consumption, perishable will occur in tourism activities. Because the uncertainty and fuzziness are always happened in the service process of tourism activities, the evaluation the attractive degree of tourism activities became an important issue. The goal of this research is to apply the intuitionistic TOPSIS method to evaluate the attractive power of tourism activities. A numerical example will be implemented for illustrating the evaluation process by the intuitionistic TOPSIS method. Finally, a brief conclusion will be discussed at the end of this paper.
