Abstract :
The paper presents a robust signal parameter estimation method. It´s applied in the satellites and spacecrafts observations to remove the estimation breakpoints and get a high resolution results. The robust fast-Fourier-transform (FFT) combined with the Chirp-Z transform (CZT) is proposed for the high resolution Doppler frequency-phase estimation, with a tracking strategy to enhance the robustness of the algorithm. It´s programmed and installed in the developed Radio Science Receiver. Experiments show that the algorithm can remove the estimation breakpoint and frequency fitting error is below 10mHz while the phase stitching error is under the 0.01 round.
