Abstract :
This paper presents a smooth variable structure control (VSC) to alleviate the chattering effect such that conventional PWM can be employed for constant switching frequency and easy implementation. The buck derived DC/DC converters, operated either as stand-alone or in parallel with an outer loop regulation structure of an active current sharing scheme, are designed, the resulted responses have significant stability, fast response and precise voltage regulation and current sharing. The effectiveness is demonstrated by some experimental results
