Abstract
A semi-analytical and semi-numerical (SASN) method is proposed to model the multiple scattering and turbulence channel for the emerging non-line-of-sight (NLOS) optical communications. In SASN, the ray tracing model based on Monte-Carlo method is used to track the multiple scattering ray, while the analytic method is used to obtain the irradiance probability density function (PDF) of each individual ray. Based on SASN, the irradiance distribution and scintillation index of the channel are evaluated.
