Abstract :
We consider a negative unity feedback control system in which a PID controller and a transfer function having only poles are in cascade. This paper present sufficient conditions for the existence of a PID controller under which the overall closed loop characteristic polynomial is stable. These sufficient conditions are based on Lehnigk´s lemmas (1966)
