Abstract :
Though LVDS and RS485 protocol are maturely solution for low power data communication and widely used, there are a lack for the purpose of short distance and high speed data transmitting and receiving. This paper gives a low-power design for the short distance communication. The low supply voltage and the low drive current technologies are applied to reduce the power consumption of the tranceiver. The result shows that this kind of tranceiver requires only 1/6 the power of LVDS at the 4Msps data speed.
