Abstract :
In this paper, we propose an efficient algorithm of container code characters location in complex situations based on Digital Image Processing. The proposed algorithm consists of three major parts: Image Pre-Processing, Container code characters detection and analysis, Extraction the container code region. The performance of the proposed algorithm has been tested on a large number of experimental data from random and real images. The tests show that this location method is straight forward, high efficiency, robust.
