Abstract
We describe a fully automated assembly unit that allows reproducible integration of surface acoustic wave (SAW) sensors into polymer housings, thus providing end users as, e.g., biologists or pharmacologists with easy to use SAW biosensors. The described assembly unit assures reliable reproducible experiments with SAW biosensors in small batch production and is also adaptable to other housing designs or for use in different applications.
