Abstract
Aiming at the time delay estimation (TDE) problem in wireless communication, this paper proposes an improved sliding window time delay estimation algorithm for multipath channel. It estimates multipath time delay by extracting the mutation information of the sliding sum curve. It can effectively reduce the time delay estimation error caused by multipath with a better performance than frontier detection time delay estimation. This algorithm also performs better than the original sliding sum time delay estimation algorithm in multipath channel with additional white Gaussian noise.
