Abstract :
Function calling path (FCP) testing method effectively avoids the problem of the exponential explosion of paths in base path testing, and FCP is now a hot spot in software testing. Introduction of data mining (DM) techniques provides an important opportunity for the realization of knowledge intelligent path testing. This paper systematically introduces, summarizes and comparatively analyses the applications of data mining in several key issues of software testing based on FCP, such as mining software specifications, test case generation, software faults location and forecasting, software version change. This paper also puts forward some further research directions.
