Abstract
Puts forward a method of adding compensative components into the input signal to eliminate the ripple torque of inverter-fed PM synchronous motors. Based on the fact that when sinusoidal input of certain frequency is added into the signal input, there will be produced a compensative torque component in the output torque of the PMSM, a multilayer feedforward neural network is constructed to produce the compensative inputs needed. Experimental results indicate that the proposed compensation strategy can effectively attenuate the ripple torque
