Abstract :
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has coordinated numerous evaluations of speech and language technology over the past two decades. We discuss here evaluations in three general areas of speech processing that have security and forensic applications: large vocabulary conversational speech recognition (LVCSR), speaker recognition, and language recognition.
