Abstract
Algorithms are proposed that calculate robust optimal control trajectories for batch and semibatch processes. The algorithms are the first to explicitly take into account both model and control implementation uncertainties. The algorithms are applicable to both lumped and distributed parameter nonlinear dynamical systems. The algorithms are demonstrated on a batch crystallization process
