Abstract :
Since HDMAC satellite- and cable-transmission have been proved independently feasible, there has been an interest-inside the EUREKA HDTV project-to define a compatible filtering which would meet both satellite and cable-links requirements. This compatibility only concerns the so-called HD-Nyquist filtering, its roll-off value, and its distribution between transmitter and receiver sides
