Abstract :
Renewable energy are the only solution left to meet the increasing demand of energy among all the renewable energy options, photovoltaic energy sources are the most dependable due to its availability, environment friendly and noise free features. These are generally used in “stand-alone” and “Grid connected mode”. This paper proposes a simple and efficient current control mode of operating PV in both the modes. For operation in standalone mode, Battery Bank supports PV to handle load voltage. The current control methodology proposed in the paper ensures voltage regulation, active and reactive power flow control and quality dependent power.
