Abstract :
The research paper emphasizes on the Elevator control system which is one of the important aspects in infrastructure industry. This elevator control system is designed with the help of hydraulic motor and programmable logic control (PLC) while internal controlling is done through human machine interference (HMI). This research is divided into two Parts on the basis of programming. Firstly the program is developed on ladder logic and then simulated on software itself but for later testing and running the application a visualization is created on Indraworks engineering Software and testing of hardware is done. In the second level for controlling the internal commands of the system and for floor recognition HMI is developed on Rexroth touch screen HMI and internal switch for floor selection is done by HMI. The system consists of three floor hardware and recognition of floors is done by inductive proximity sensors and limit switch. Hydraulic motor used for UP-DOWN movement of the elevator is controlled through 4/3 Directional control valve (DCV).
