Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to discuss some results on the identification and control of linear time-varying (LTV) plants. The authors adopt an input-output (I/O) framework whereby the LTV plant is described in terms of differential operators. Such a description provides a factorization of the I/O operator of the LTV plant which is convenient for parametric identification and design of `pole-placement´-type controllers
