Abstract :
The paper discusses the short-term performance of a 100 kWp Solar PV system during the first few months of its operation. The paper evaluates the performance the system not only based on the standard measures of performance but also looks at critical equipment i.e. inverters. This helps the owner to observe the trend, compare the performance with the predicted values and arrive at operation and maintenance decisions for improving the system performance, if required.
