Abstract
Increasing switching frequency of power electronic converters increases the amount of common mode currents (CMC). This paper presents several techniques to reduce CMC levels created by single-phase full bridge PFC rectifiers. The study is based on high frequency models and understanding of phenomenon. Acting on control strategies and/or propagation paths, improvements are achieved without much additional components. Results are validated using practical experiments based on EMI standards
