Abstract :
A new system scheme of the multiuser detection (MUD) is proposed , the wavelet packet transform as a kind of multi-carrier modulation system is employed for the first stage MUD over additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel and multi-path channel, and the new heuristic intelligent optimization algorithm-Artificial Fish Swarm Algorithm (AFSA) is employed for the second stage detail detection. With the first stage detection results, the AFSA can research the good detection results with few iterations. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can provide much better performance than the improved scheme with the genetic algorithm (GA). The better performance of the wavelet packet multi-carrier modulation system or its improved system resisting the impact of multi-path or time varying channel can be used into communication scheme.
