Abstract
In this paper, the analysis and optimal design of striplines for surface acoustic wave (SAW) antenna duplexer are presented. Ladder type SAW filters are used as Tx and Rx chips on 36° Y-X LiTaO3 (36LT) in order to investigate the effects of the striplines on duplexer characteristics. Stripline dimensions such as thickness, width, and length on various substrates are optimized by a conventional microwave design tool. Duplexer characteristics with variations of stripline dimensions are presented. Duplexer characteristics with a stripline in the Rx path directly implemented on 36LT are also presented
