The development strategies of integrating informatization and industrialization to energy conservation in Shandong province

The integration of informatization and industrialization is generally regarded as an effective way of promoting energy conservation. The strategies of integrating informatization and industrialization to promoting energy conservation are set up for Shandong, the largest industrial province in China. Firstly, the current situation of Shandong´s energy consumption is analyzed and the comparison is made with other provinces´. Secondly, the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of energy conversation by integrating informatization and industrialization are presented, and the portfolio development strategies of the integration are set up. Thirdly, the problems and the equivalent proposals are shown in section 4. Finally, the results show that integration of informatization and industrialization does promote energy conservation especially in Shandong´ s main industries such as petroleum and petrochemical, chemical engineering, steel, and papermaking based on the scientific strategies.
