Abstract :
This paper presents a new frequency plan, based on the frequency reuse factor of 3 for CDMA cellular networks. With this frequency plan, a method of traffic load shedding can be easily applied on CDMA cellular systems. Performance and capacity analyses show that the proposed frequency planning outperforms the existing frequency planning on non-uniformly distributed traffic environments
