Abstract :
The aim of this research is to get the feedback from the students regarding their knowledge of environment and Environmental Management Practices (EMP) and also to know the extent EMP have been implemented in industrial sector in Brunei Darussalam. A number of organizational issues are highlighted in the study. These can be used to illustrate issues that need to be considered when identifying an organization´s relevant capabilities and status. Findings are drawn from the study and useful recommendations are provided for improvement in the areas of weakness of organizations. The data collected shows that eighty-eight percent (88%) of the students have the awareness about the environmental issues and twenty-two percent (22%) of the students have no or little awareness. The response received from the hotels and restaurants shows that only forty percent (40%) of the hotels implement EMS and sixty percent (60%) do not or very little implement it. For future work, the current study can be extended by including more sectors and organizations of Brunei Darussalam.
