Abstract :
A competency model oriented to the development of human potential of the personnel at the Electricity Production Division of Comision Federal de Electricidad (CFE) in Mexico is presented. The concept of human potential is briefly described and the main features of a competence model are explained. Finally, the status of the implementation at CFE of the competencies model is presented.
