Abstract :
The principles, classifications and features of power cable rating models are studied in this paper,and several useful models and their applications are analyzed. Especially SCR cable model, DCR cable model and a synthetic analysis approach are introduced, which could be used for design, online monitoring and optimization of cable systems. An application case is provided.
