  • Abstract
This article considers signal formats of multi-h CPM which are created with use of a rectangular frequency pulse, a frequency pulse in the form of a sine wave half-cycle and in the form of a raised cosine of various lengths. The authors provide combined data on the error probability for receiving of the best multi-h CPM formats in the environment with flat and non-fluctutional noises. The multi-h CPM signals with a good noise resistance in the flat noise environment remain energy-effective in a more complex jamming environment. One of the important parameters of CPM signals is their spectral efficiency characterized by the degree of band limitedness and spectrum rectangularity. The article provides the best signal formats which were selected after all of the received noise resistance characteristics and spectral indices were compared.
