Abstract :
Strong system equivalence, proposed by Anderson, Coppel and Cullen [5], [6], and full system equivalence, proposed by Hayton, Walker and Pugh [7], [8], are transformations of general polynomial system matrices which preserve the finite and infinite poles and zeros and the transfer functions of the systems they relate. This paper shows that they are different characterisations of the same relationship.
