Abstract :
Passivity is an important property of systems to ensure systems´s stability and stabilization. This paper investigates passivity, stability and stabilization of switched Hamiltonian systems. A concept of passivity is first presented for switched Hamiltonian systems using hamiltonian functions. Then, by the inherent structure and the Hamiltonian functions of subsystems, some criterions are proposed for passivity of switched Hamiltonian systems. Third, based on the passivity results obtained in this paper, stability and stabilization are given for switched Hamiltonian systems. Simulations on an numerical example show that the new results obtained in this paper are very effective.
