Abstract

The Internet is overwhelmed by a large variety of GIS applications. Very often, it is hard to find the information you need. There are all kinds of spatial information systems, some with large raster maps and sufficient information that needs time to load. On other hand, there are fast systems using vector data that can show a world to you in just a second, but not so sufficiently. When you want to put your information system on the Web, you have to choose between one of these two ways of presenting GIS information. We have chosen the raster one. This paper presents a simple way to organize your GIS data on the Web. Actually, this is just a prototype
