Abstract :
Conventionally, in order to increase the heat transfer from generator circuit breaker(GCB), the forced air circulation or the heat exchanger with motor driven fan will be used to increase the current carrying capacity, even so it is still not able to achieve fast release of heat from the current carrying conductor of the GCB. In this article, following the boiling heat transfer principle to analyze the evaporative cooling technology in special environment is provided and the analysis on the feasibility and advantage of using evaporative cooling in generator circuit.
