Abstract :
Huangjinxia hydraulic project is a large-scale and important inter-basin water diversion project in Shanxi province. And the pump station installed capacity and design discharge is the maximum among the pump station under construction or having been built in China or even Asia. Moreover, the water diversion process is very complex, and the water diversion discharge range is very extensive. Based on the analysis result of the Huangjinxia pump station operation mode and dispatch method, the determination method and affected factors of giant single-stage and single-suction centrifugal pump unit number and performance parameter have been proposed, considering the giant pump unit manufacturing ability of the manufacturer in domestic and overseas, the civil and electromechanical engineering invest. And the recommended selecting and design result for Huangjinxia pump station is proposed. The research result could provide reference for giant diversion pump unit of pump station selection and design.
